Your Ship

The Princess ship built in Japan, going back to Japan

Aboard

Built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries at Nagasaki, not by Fincantieri like the rest of the class
Swapped names with Diamond Princess mid-build after a yard fire
Christened at Seattle in June 2004, the first ship ever christened in that port
A drydock at Portland in October 2025 added Makoto Ocean and moved the Crown Grill in
Based at Tokyo for the line's largest Japan season, reunited with Diamond Princess
