Your Ship

AmaSintra

Built to the exact size of five Portuguese locks, and no larger

Aboard

Christened at Porto in April 2025, the newest ship on the Douro
260 feet long and 37 feet wide because the Douro's locks admit nothing bigger
183 feet shorter than AmaWaterways' Danube and Rhine hulls, and 60 guests smaller
Built at the WestSEA yard at Viana do Castelo, in Portugal
38 crew to 102 guests, a better ratio than anything else in the European fleet
Sails the Douro exclusively and physically cannot leave it
