The Norwegian Getaway cruise ship is docked on a river under a foggy sky. The white ship has a colorful mermaid painting on its bow and rows of cabin balconies. Smaller support boats are anchored alongside it, with city buildings visible in the background.

Norwegian Getaway

Breakaway's sister, refitted for Europe in 2019 and now running long weekends out of Miami

Aboard

  • The second and last Breakaway-class hull, delivered by Meyer Werft in January 2014
  • The Illusionarium, a steampunk dinner theater under a thirty-foot video dome, hers alone
  • A two-week 2019 dry dock in Brest added Syd Norman's Pour House and a full Starbucks
  • The Haven, a keycard-gated suite complex on the top decks with its own pool and restaurant
  • Mostly short Bahamas runs from Miami, a long weekend rather than a week
