The Millennium-class ship the Revolution refit never reached

Aboard

  • The last of the four Millennium-class ships, delivered by Chantiers de l'Atlantique in 2002
  • Driven by two General Electric gas turbines rather than diesels, which is rare at sea
  • A diesel generator was added in 2007 purely to cut the fuel bill
  • The full Celebrity Revolution overhaul booked for May 2020 was canceled and never rescheduled
  • A three-week refresh at Marseille in April 2024 redid the main dining room and the buffet
  • Splits the year between Tampa, San Juan and the Adriatic
