Your Ship
Carnival Freedom
The last Conquest-class hull, and the ship that has lost her funnel twice
Aboard
- Fifth and last ship of the Conquest class, delivered by Fincantieri in February 2007
- A funnel fire at Grand Turk in May 2022 destroyed the starboard wing of her whale tail
- The replacement funnel fitted at Cadiz in October 2023 burned again in March 2024
- She sails today with a plain straight funnel, unlike any other ship in the fleet
- A 2019 dry dock added the WaterWorks aqua park with a 203-foot AquaTunnel slide
- Crosses to Europe in autumn 2026, then moves from Port Canaveral to Norfolk in May 2027
